15 things I do as a market stallholder!! Do you do these things too!? Any new to you?? Am I missing anything leading up to @brisstyle Earring Market!!?

1. Pack snacks - time flies, you don’t always get time to step away, often your fav food option sells out or they might not turn up, it’ll save you $$ plus you can eat as the day goes
2. Plan your lighting - BCF have small, well priced options
3. Wind tunnel - have a plan if a few gusts pass through
4. Backdrop - extends your brand experience + hides your back neighbour’s back of house chaos
5. Bring a float - people still pay with cash
6. Water - bring lots! Not always a bubbler or kitchen tap in stallee back room
7. Wear your product - seems obvious buuutt…
8. Display your contact info - for follow up browsing and chats.
9. Sales aren’t everything- they help! But my success measures also include meeting customers and future recall - even to say hi
10. Test your setup beforehand
11. Say hi to your neighbours - the markets are such a great opportunity to meet like minded people 🩷
12. Allow ample time to setup - allow enough time to fix anything that doesn’t look right, get your head into the game, be ready for early shoppers, have a look around and shop and chat yourself, and offer to give others a hand
13. Be nice to the organisers!! They want you to do well too, they’ve also put a lot of time into this too AND the team are super friendly, so be nice. If you’re not sure about your setup, ask them for tips and ideas.
14. Bring a kit with supplies! Panadol, tape, spare findings, pliers, zip ties, glue, home lunch etc.
15. Still have stock to finish? Bring it along and work away when it’s quiet or to busy your hands (me! I do this!). You won’t look bored or ready to pounce on visitors plus I’ve found shoppers are super interested in seeing your processes and how you bring things to life.
