1. On June 8, 2020 Congressional Democrats led by the Congressional Black Caucus introduced the Justice in Policing Act of 2020. More information about the bill can be found on judiciary.house.gov under “press releases”
2. House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing on June 10th at 10 am EST to examine policing practices and law enforcement accountability. Watch it live on YouTube: House Judiciary Committee
3. On June 5, 2020 the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act of 2020 (H.R. 7010) was signed into law. For more information about how this bill became a law go to congress.gov type in HR 7010 and click on “all actions”.
