I found out what my username means this weekend.

For the first 23 years of my life, all I knew was organized athletics. Training several hours a day with one goal in mind: Win. Win the race. Win the game. Win the match. But one day, the ball stopped bouncing. Everything I knew about what it meant to compete, train, and remain healthy was flipped upside down, and I had to relearn what that meant for me. And that’s where the idea of being a Semi-Retired Athlete was born. At first it was learning how to go into a gym and lift without a strength coaching giving me a piece of paper to follow. Then it was learning what aerobic endurance was when I trained for my first half marathon in 2024. And then finally, this weekend completing my third world major marathon in Chicago. But it wasn’t until this weekend that I truly found out what my goal was in this entire process of navigating life as a Semi-Retired Athlete. And that’s because the goal is now ambiguous. There is no “winning” anymore. The goal can be whatever I want. And on Sunday, I found out what that goal is for me: to have fun. I don’t want to be the fastest. I don’t want to PB. I literally want to go out and have fun. Maybe that means doing a keg stand at Mile 24 of a marathon. Maybe that means running out of storage in the middle of the marathon because I was recording myself singing @remiwolf too many times. Maybe that means waking up every Wednesday at 4am to go run with @run0440. Maybe that means doing a @hyroxworld in Barcelona with zero training and zero time goal in mind.

It means training to feel GOOD and doing it with the people I love.

And there might come a day again when I want to be the best - PB a race, maybe come in 1st place at something. But right now, that’s just not for me. And that’s the point. I can choose whatever I want my goal to be.

I have never enjoyed fitness more in my life. And that is what being a Semi-Retired Athlete is.

Go have some fun.

За сколько готов забрать ? Или на что обмен ? Тачка в идеале 👌

Tesla has revealed a pre-production electric sports car, called the Roadster, which will enter production in 2028. It will be available in a standard Performance trim, and Thrust and Rocket packages (or augments, as Tesla calls them).

Here’s everything you need to know about it:
◾️Thrusters use pressurised cold air expelled through nozzles to generate thrust
◾️Performance trim features an underbody suction fan that can generate 2G of grip
◾️Thrust augment adds four rear-mounted thrusters
◾️Rocket augment gets 10 thrusters and is designed for airborne manoeuvres
◾️Tesla claims a 0-100kph time of under a second for the new Roadster
◾️Performance, Thrust gets two seats; Rocket is a single-seater
Has a more angular, wedge-shaped silhouette like the Tesla Cybertruck
◾️Features ‘Ano White' paint finish, gold-tinted glass and titanium accents
◾️Interior has a more minimalistic design with a yoke steering and central infotainment screen
◾️Has a steer-by-wire system, and braking and throttle inputs are also electronically controlled
◾️Offers a fixed seating position, and the cabin uses lightweight materials such as carbon fibre, magnesium and titanium to help keep weight in check

Pre-reservations for the Performance trim and Thrust package are underway in India at Rs 5 lakh, while the Rocket augment is an invite-only programme.
