UNIVERSE

We cooked a fine meal, but what was it without the farmer’s sweat,
We sketched an art on paper, but what was it without the tree’s bark,
We won in a race-car, but what was it without the engineer’s effort,
We built huge monuments, but what was it without the mason’s labour,

An action has a reaction, but can the doer be solely credited,
An effect has a cause, but can the reasons all be known,
We take pride in success, but there’s a lot behind the scenes,
We honour a face in place, but many we forgot in our routines,

So so many and so so much, drives a process in time,
What are we but a speck as such, in a universe so sublime,
So small are we, so humble our part, we must begin to see,
What are we but a grain of sand, on the shores of a silent sea!

We all are a part of one big family and coexistence is our truth. Let’s make each other’s lives worthwhile!
