Who needs Sorrento when you have Shimla? Who needs Malta when you have Mashobra? My biggest travel regret is not getting to see more of my own beautiful country, growing up. I no longer need to see cute, colourful houses lining the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. I’m more than happy looking at them stacked one on top of the other disappearing into the peaks of expansive mountains 🏔 What are some of your favourite travel destinations that are closer to home? 🏡 // 📸: @niharikanathanscott

Very true. We have so many exquisitely beautiful places in our own country. Himachal and Kashmir with their icy mountains, Rajasthan and Agra for the historically inclined, Goa and Kerala for the beaches etc. A diverse dynamic landscape - That is what India is.

I love to travel but never did much in my country. However the last four months I spent in Portugal I was able to explore my own country and it was amazing.
