Nobody on screen says much, and that is exactly why this scene hurts. A boy shouts a name into the fall air, then goes quiet as he waits for something to answer. The “this movie broke me” feeling comes from the patience. In Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993), the camera holds on a child’s hopeful face, then on an empty field of leaves, and lets the waiting do the work. It is a relatable moment about how long a few seconds can feel when you want something this badly. Disney’s film, directed by Duwayne Dunham and based on Sheila Burnford’s novel The Incredible Journey, trusts its visual storytelling here. The warm autumn palette, the small voices and the stillness turn it into a gentle character study of loyalty and love from both sides of the family. Chance, Shadow and Sassy, voiced by Michael J. Fox, Don Ameche and Sally Field, have earned this payoff, and it is a must-see for anyone who grew up with them. Save this post or share it with the friend who still cannot get through this scene dry-eyed.
Ravi Kishan has admitted feeling nervous about portraying Lord Ram on stage, saying he wants to perform the sacred role with complete dignity and devotion. He is fasting during Navratri, following a special diet and preparing himself mentally for the performance. 🙏❤️ . #instantbollywood #ravikishan #jn
