A little sneak peek at our new home! 🥹

Our beloved realtor @angelarealtor.mn was on maternity leave during this process, and I’ll be honest: I was apprehensive about working with anyone else. I have trust issues in this arena. But Ryan made the whole experience feel completely stress free. He asked the hard questions, never judged our copious amounts of emotion or random bursts of tears, and showed up to everything to support us in any way he could.

He also helped us find a home when we really didn’t want to move, which is no small task when you’re working with two people who have severe home trust issues. Somehow, Ryan made the process feel safe, manageable, and even a little hopeful.

He doesn’t know I’m posting this, and I know he would never even consider asking us to, but if you’re in the Twin Cities and looking for a realtor, we couldn’t recommend @ryanaecklund enough. 🤍

And even if you aren’t looking for a home or you aren’t from Minnesota, you should still follow Ryan. He makes such great videos and tours so many new construction homes, so it’s fun to follow along no matter where you live. His wife, who has also become a friend, puts together bloopers trolling him every Saturday, and they’re honestly my favorite.

The character, outdoor spaces, and random little details made this place stand out to us.

I think the biggest thing was how peaceful we felt walking around. And after the last couple of years, that was a pretty big deal.

This whole process is overwhelming and we have so many emotions about it, but we are excited to share the process of making this place our own. The projects, the inevitable questionable decisions, the very important task of figuring out where our new counter chats will happen, and hopefully a whole lot of really good memories along the way. 🤍
