They said, "It's just a music video." But somehow, Avicii's "Wake Me Up" made an entire generation feel understood without needing to explain a single thing.

Some songs make you want to dance. Others make you remember who you were, where you came from, and all the moments you can never get back.

Released in 2013, the official music video for "Wake Me Up" tells a beautiful story about loneliness, belonging, and finding your place in a world that doesn't always understand you.

Featuring Kristina Romanova and Laneya Grace as two sisters who feel like outsiders in their own hometown, the video captures something deeply relatable: the feeling of being different and wondering whether there's somewhere you truly belong.

Directed by Mark Seliger and C.B. Miller, this unforgettable visual masterpiece combines breathtaking countryside imagery, emotional storytelling, and real footage of Avicii performing at Ultra Music Festival in Miami.

And when Aloe Blacc's powerful vocals meet Avicii's iconic production, something magical happens.

What makes this music video so special isn't just the nostalgia. It's the message behind every scene.

That sometimes you have to leave everything familiar behind to discover where you're meant to be. That somewhere in this world, there are people who will understand you without asking you to change.

More than a decade later, "Wake Me Up" still feels like the soundtrack to growing up, chasing dreams, losing yourself, and eventually finding your way.

Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling, didn't just create unforgettable electronic music. He gave millions of people songs that became part of their lives.

And no matter how many years pass, this one will always feel different.

Some music videos entertain you for a few minutes. Others stay with you for a lifetime.

Save this timeless Avicii masterpiece or share it with someone who grew up with "Wake Me Up" and still gets emotional whenever they hear it.

⁨ ריבועי סושי קריספיים /אלישבע רוזנבלום🥢✨

Thank you again to all our amazing friends and fans for all your support for Chad over these past few weeks. All of the tributes and posts have really helped us get through a very tough time. Playing at Epcot right after his passing was emotional but being in a place Chad loved so much with all of you helped us to really grieve and celebrate him together.

Even in his battle, Chad was always thinking of ways to give back to the community and help others less fortunate than he was. As we look ahead to our schedule in 2027 that Chad was a part of planning, our wish is to keep his spirit alive in all that we do, which means giving support to different cancer organizations.

The first organization we are going to partner with is Adrenal Cure Collective. ACC is a patient-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising money for research on Adrenocortical Carcinoma, also known as adrenal cancer. Their mission is to significantly increase public awareness and understanding of adrenal cancer and raise substantial funds to support groundbreaking research. This type of cancer affects 1 in a million people, and is what Chad suffered from, so the research is very underfunded.

We will be donating a portion of all NFG profits to the ACC through the end of 2027, and we’re going to kick that off with the Chadball Rest in Peace shirt through our friends at Triple-B Records. Pre-orders are available NOW at the link in our bio, and ALL profits from the sale of this shirt will go directly to the ACC. Go get yours and wear it proudly.

We will see you at Warped Orlando where we have lots of special things planned to honor Chad and celebrate him with all of you!

Love you all.

-NFG
