I’m honored to share this new version of my painting ‘I Know He Holds You Among The Stars.’ Over the past year since I painted this piece, I have received many, many requests to create a version where the Savior is holding an angel baby, and the parents are holding another baby that is with them on earth. I’m very happy to share this new piece with you, and hope that it helps many of you feel seen this month. As October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month, it felt like the perfect time to create this new version. One of my favorite details in this painting is the monarch butterfly flying near the parents. In many cultures, butterflies symbolize the spirits of loved ones who have passed on. I included this detail to remind those who are waiting to be reunited with their angel babies, that their baby’s spirit is always, always with them. My other favorite detail is that both parents have their hands on their angel baby while simultaneously holding their baby who is with them on earth. Love stretches through the veil and connects us with our loved ones. They are never truly lost to us, always with us. I hope that this painting helps anyone who has an angel baby in heaven feel their spirit with them always. This print is now available on my website and 25% off all month long in honor of Pregnancy And Infant Loss Awareness month. Use code ‘ANGEL’ at checkout 🩷🩵
Prices will continue to rise. There’s little hope for things turning back especially when it comes to large corporations in that regard. There is no “right” or “wrong” way to collect what you enjoy and want (apart from blatant theft). If you are the type of collector that has “the sickness” and continues to buy things on autopilot most of the time (I probably fall into that category more than I’d like to admit - I guess I just did), reevaluating your personal collecting “style” is something you should do, now more than ever. If you’re the more discerning type of collector, who has willpower and/or just a strong grasp on what you will and won’t support, I applaud you. All of us have been “voting with our wallets” since the beginning. Buying something enthusiastically or disgruntley makes absolutely NO difference in the end. A sale is a sale. There has been a recent push to contact Hasbro customer service (link in bio) to make your voices heard regarding this latest round of price increases and I 100% support that action. Do so respectfully and calmly, but make your voices heard to those who set the MSRPs - hint: it’s not the brand managers, product designers or social media faces you see regularly. Some will say “finally Yakface/Jayson ‘the corporate shill’ ‘Hasbro defender’ ‘promoter’ is saying no to Hasbro!”, and to that I’d say you really haven’t been paying attention have you? #hasbro #hasbropulse
Tonight’s lineup in a must-win Game 4 for the Dodgers🙏🙏 Shohei Ohtani is BACK in the leadoff spot, Will Smith is hitting clean-up, Kiké starts at third base, and Tyler Glasnow is on the mound. It starts with one win… BELIEVE, DODGERS NATION!
