Ravan-themed hoardings have appeared at several locations across Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, branding Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and Elon Musk as “Enemies of Sanatan Bharat.” The posters were put up by the Sanatan Raksha Sangathan and feature images of several political figures alongside gangster Atiq Ahmed, depicted prominently at the centre.

The striking hoardings use imagery associated with Ravan, the demon king from the Hindu epic Ramayana, to convey the organisation’s message. The people featured include Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, SP leader Azam Khan, and Elon Musk, along with gangster Mukhtar Ansari and other political figures. The poster carries the message “Sanatan Bharat ke virodhi Ravan,” portraying those pictured as opponents of Sanatan Bharat.

The display has drawn attention because it places Indian political leaders and an internationally known business figure together under the same provocative label. The use of Ravan imagery adds a religious and symbolic dimension to the political messaging.

According to reports, Samajwadi Party workers tore down some of the posters. The incident has brought further attention to the hoardings and the message they carry.

The posters were installed at prominent locations, including the 1090 intersection in Lucknow. However, the precise circumstances surrounding their removal and any official response were not established in the information available.

The episode highlights how political messaging in public spaces can become a flashpoint, particularly when it uses religious symbolism and targets prominent public figures. The claims and labels displayed on the hoardings represent the organisation’s message, not established findings about the individuals named.

Victoria is a brutal place to be an unborn child. Both Labor and the Liberals have teamed up to make it even worse. No prolife or Christian can vote for them now. Both major parties must be placed at the bottom of the ballot alongside the other pro-abortion parties: Greens, Teals and Animal Justice. Yesterday's announcements by @bencarrollmp and @jesswilsonmp was absolutely disgraceful: agreeing to further the slaughter off preborn Victorian children as a cynical political tactic to win votes.

📣Share this post. We must expose these vile baby killers and deny them power on Nov 28, it's the only language they understand.

Richard Dawkins challenges the assumption that the Bible deserves a privileged position in discussions about morality, science, and the origins of life.
Humanity has produced thousands of years of philosophy, scientific discoveries, and ethical debate. From Confucius and the Buddha to modern philosophers and scientists, we have countless sources to examine when trying to understand the world and how we should live.
So why should one ancient religious text be treated as uniquely authoritative?
A book's age doesn't make it false, just as its age doesn't make it true. Its claims should be evaluated on their merits, not accepted simply because generations have considered them sacred.
We can appreciate historical texts, learn from ancient thinkers, and discuss morality together without assuming that any scripture has all the answers. Wisdom should be judged by the quality of its ideas, not by the authority attributed to its source.
If the Bible makes a claim about morality or the natural world, shouldn't it face the same critical scrutiny as any other book?
