You go to a memorial at 3pm, catch up with your friends outside the venue until 7:30pm, wait another hour to get seated at a Harmon approved restaurant, swap stories about life and all that’s going on in our worlds, stay until the restaurant is closed, and hang out in front of it until 12am to talk more life, health and sickness, eschatology, and the hope we have for humanity (@_nickhoag brought it home of course).

This world may be hectic, but it’s great to have family to reminisce about our dear friend and all the great memories we had with him. Our lives may all be headed in different directions, but its beautiful unplanned moments like these in such interesting circumstances that allow us be brought together once again to enjoy the simple pleasures of fellowship and community. What a great reminder it is to be intentional and reach out to the ones you call family. What a day, what a night. It’s good be back home.
