Kids don’t need much to turn an average evening into something magical. A horse to pet, a fence to climb, a barnyard to explore, a fuzzy little cow to point at and shriek about. Animals (such as our star horse model, Cedar here) have a way of softening a session into something novel, fun and engaging.

We have a lot to learn from our kiddos, who view the world with so much wonder and curiosity. They embrace new discoveries, let their excitement show, and investigate the unknown with an open mind.

What I love about family sessions is that they can actually serve as a time to appreciate the wonder around you, embrace curiosity, and simply be present with one another. What begins as a photo session can become something truly experiential - a core memory made together with lots of laughs to be had.

This incredible session reminds me of a soft, meandering evening you’d find tucked into the pages of a nostalgic storybook. 🤍

I prioritize myself.

I prioritize slow mornings, my coffee, and the little details that remind me how beautiful life can be when I take the time to truly appreciate it.

I prioritize my mental well-being, my emotions, and the quiet moments that bring me back to myself.

I prioritize my peace, my energy, and the woman I’m becoming.

I’ve learned that life isn’t always about chasing more. Sometimes, it’s about recognizing the beauty in what I already have, finding happiness in the simplest things, and being grateful for everything that has shaped me along the way.

The warmth of the sun. The comfort of silence. The little rituals that make ordinary days feel special. The strength I’ve found within myself. The freedom to feel, to grow, and to simply be.

And if there’s one thing I’m learning, it’s that I never want to become so busy building a beautiful life that I forget to feel the beauty of the one I’m already living. 🤎
