They are most attracted to plankton, which are a collection of multi-cellular organisms often smaller than 2cm/1inch. They gulp water into their mouths over their gills to feed like a giant vacuum cleaner. ⁣⁣⁠

Unfortunately they are victim to fast moving boats and propellers because they feed at the surface. When this guy showed up he had a fresh, deep bleeding wounds on his back 😭 but in the few hours I spent with him in the water, the bleeding stopped so I hope he will heal quickly! ✌🏼🤕⁣⁣'⁠
