Alhamdu lilLah it has landed

Delighted to have been awarded with a certificate of merit for being a finalist (nominee) in the ICTs and Telecommunications category of the prestigious West African Media Excellence Conference and Awards (WAMECA) 2021 held at Alisa hotel, Accra, Ghana.

My appreciation goes to my father for picking up the award at Stratton hotel, FCT Abuja, on my behalf yesterday, being Monday out of his tight schedules.

I will also extend my appreciation to the Media Foundation For West Africa for organizing such award to honour journalists who have crossed the boundary of excellence in West Africa and same goes to the jury for finding my story worthy of the shortlist out of over 700 entries from the region.

My appreciation also goes to Ms. Adiza of MFWA for bringing this award to Abuja, Nigeria all the way from Accra, Ghana for me. My father has also told me that you have reiterated to him that I contested with some of the best journalists in West Africa. I really appreciate all of you.

Now, to my publishers who have given me the platform to publish my work, thank you all.

Muhammad Auwal Ibrahim, WAMECA 2021 finalist.
