One Happy Camper 🫶

This past week was truly the Best! Week! Ever! @experiencecamps Maine girls camp! I was honored to be a camp counselor alongside three amazing women and to some of the bravest girls I’ve ever met. Grief is complicated, rocky, and has been incredibly isolating in my experience. However, my time at SomEx showed me the just how gracious the other side can be. Thanks to a whirlwind of incredible volunteers including therapists, nurses, and my fellow counselors, I’ve felt the most seen and heard than I have in a long time. Most importantly our campers got to have a week to be around other kids and adults who just get it. S’mores were devoured, tears were shed, but we all laughed more than anything. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. Thank you @experiencecamps for everything! I can’t wait till next summer in Maine 🦞🛶⛺️
