Liliana Lines Ceramics

These are some pictures from my first exhibition in May! 🖼️ it was pretty informal—I pretty much just asked the visual arts department if I could use the exhibition space for a few days, then I set up all the plynths/furniture and brought my work over from the pottery studio, and invited my friends and family for pottery viewing + cupcakes! :)

My family was coming up to Maine from Boston for my graduation anyway, so it was a good time for them to see the stuff I’d been making 👩‍🎓 and I made my friends take gift pots to say goodbye 💝

I was kind of embarrassed to send invitations to this for some reason so I sent them all by mail 😂 which resulted in some people not receiving the invite until too late but sometimes you gotta make practical sacrifices for old fashioned flair…

Anyway if you have never done an exhibition before and would like to I bet there’s a way!! It’s worthwhile and it makes you see your work differently when you have to arrange it all together 🤗
