Bao the Chihuahua

The Grotto, Tobermory is one of Ontario’s gems. So glad we decided to take this last minute road trip to enjoy the last bit of summer here in Canada. Your boy, Bao, is an adventure dog too 😊🐾❤️ there’s so much more in Tobermory we haven’t checked out yet. We will be back!

Here are some tips when traveling and hiking to the Grotto, Tobermory:

- pack light snacks and water (water bowl)
- bring a carrier if you have a small dog
- pack waste bags
- wear comfortable or hiking shoes
- wear a hat and sunscreen or UV protection clothing
- pack a towel and water shoes if you want to swim in the water
- go on a weekday or early morning to avoid the crowds
- book your time slot well in advance
- there are different hiking trail options (we picked the moderate trail)
- remember to sit back and take it all in!
