If Mexico City isn’t on your Día de Muertos bucket list, let this be your sign. 🧡🇲🇽 seas of marigolds, morning light over the Zócalo… and this year, the WORLD’S TALLEST CATRINA. standing over 33 meters tall, she officially earned a Guinness World Record in 2026! 💀✨ my favorite city somehow becomes even more beautiful. and behind all this beauty is a tradition centered on love, remembrance, and keeping the people we’ve lost close. 📍 Zócalo, Centro Histórico, Mexico City my tip: make this your first stop in the morning for that beautiful light, then spend time exploring Centro Histórico and grabbing breakfast. planning for next year? build your trip around November 1–2, book your stay ahead, and check the dates for individual displays and events. save this spot + comment “MEXICO” if you’d like help planning your trip! ✨ #diademuertosméxico #zocalo #zocalocdmx #diademuertos #catrinamexicana cdmxlife
