Alu-Cab

We recently caught up with Mary Hannah from @expeditionrove to hear how she and Andy have been finding living on the road in the Icarus... Here are some of their first thoughts:

"Hot damn...we knew the roof conversion was going to be good, but we couldn't have predicted how much it would change life on the road for us...now that we're on the road full time again and experiencing the major impacts it has on day to day life, it's pretty neat to look back at how our way of travel has evolved over the last 5 years. Tent camping 9 months in a roof top tent down the Pan-American, to sleeping inside for the Arctic. For the first time in all of our travels our setup actually feels like a home, rather than a vehicle.

Biggest impacts: changing standing up! The ability to cook inside when the weather is horrendous. Having the ability to work from the road. I think it's important to note that on every trip we've ever been on I start craving a hotel or established campsite after about 4-5 days for a refresh....we're on day 14 and the clock is still rolling..."

Follow them for more updates along their journey!
