So after I got the issue with the vehicle identification number out of the way, it was time to get this electric quad bike road legal for real! Long trip to RDW Lelystad with the quad bike being towed on a trailer. Also had to take a lot of documents with me about how everything is connected and even some sort of user manual that I had to make myself. While their inspection is pretty difficult to pass for an EV conversion I actually managed to do it! Took a few hours and they had to do a test drive on it too on their test track but it actually passed inspection with also a lot of compliments from the people at the RDW! 😃 I was so happy that day. This was actually 7 years ago already and it's definitely been great having this quad bike be road legal ever since. 😉
