Between supply chain delays, pandemic outbreaks, hurricanes, starting a new job, undertaking PhD exams, a cancer scare, and a whole bunch of other fun stuff, I had lost hope that this book would ever have a launch party; that it even mattered. Thank you, friends, for proving that thought wrong. The Sweetbitter launch at @broadstcider was more than I've ever dreamed of. I got to read the poems with my childhood best friend. I got to hear and showcase and share the work of folks I admire. I sold out of books. And my sweet partner snapped so many photos of it all. Sincere gratitude to everyone who came out last night or supported this book in any way. It means the world.
