Here’s your first official look at the all-new Kawasaki Z300, ahead of its launch on October 20. It’s based on the Ninja 300 platform and will share the 296cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with 39hp and 26.1Nm. However, Kawasaki could make changes to the power and torque delivery as the intended purposes are different for the two motorcycles. Based on these images, the new entry-level sport-naked looks similar to the latest Z900, and its instrument cluster appears to be similar to the one on the Ninja 500. . . . Aaj Ki Khoj Parakh S03 EP - 31 Will Himachal Pradesh Get New Districts? The Himachal Pradesh government has started reviewing the state's administrative structure, bringing the long-standing demand for new districts back into focus. Dehra, Nurpur and Palampur in Kangra, Sundernagar in Mandi, Rampur in Shimla and Baddi in Solan are among the areas where demands for separate district status have been raised. A commission will review the state's administrative arrangements over the next six months. The review will examine population, geographical conditions, public convenience and administrative requirements. It will also consider the need for new tehsils, subdivisions and changes to development blocks. Creating new districts could bring government offices closer to residents and make public services more accessible. However, it would also require additional staff, infrastructure and financial resources. No new district has been officially announced so far. With the 2027 Assembly elections approaching, the key questions are whether Kangra or Mandi could be divided and which areas might receive district status. #HimachalPradesh #HimachalPolitics #Kangra #Mandi #News4Himalayan

🎬🎻 Dmitri Shostakovich – Waltz No. 2, from the Suite for Variety Orchestra Joelle – piano 🎹 China Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra – Artem Konstantinov • In the film it was written for, this waltz plays from a loudspeaker. The film follows volunteers in the Virgin Lands of Kazakhstan, and the loudspeaker detail comes from the Boston Symphony Orchestra's page on the work. In the original score, according to the same text, the melancholy melody begins on an alto saxophone and then passes to the trombones. The variety orchestra of the title, the page says, uses dance-band instruments: four saxophones, plus guitar and accordion. Beneath the melody, double basses and snare drum mark an oom-pah-pah that the page calls ironic, with a circus-like feel. And the page points to a contrast: the theme is light, and the accompaniment around it is dark. • Listen again, this time for the tempo: the waltz opens a little slower, with only the beat of the accompaniment, and gradually speeds up over the course of the excerpt. Listen for the last moments too: with no new note, the sound fades away, and that is when Joelle's hands leave the keyboard and stay in the air. • The text that comes with the original video says Joelle studies piano with the pianist Shirley Lo, and the recording credits place the concert in the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall. In the suite's instrumentation, the piano is already there: two of them, inside the orchestra, according to the work's listing on the Boosey & Hawkes site. In this version, the piano is the soloist. Right at the opening, Joelle's feet, in silver shoes, rest on a black platform in front of the pedals. And in the close-up shots, the polished wood behind the keys reflects Joelle's hands. • 👉 Follow for the best of classical music daily on your feed. • #shostakovich #waltzno2 #piano #classicalmusic
