This post makes me so genuinely happy, it is difficult to put into words.

@mattryanreal is one of my favorite actors, and after meeting him? He's one of my favorite humans! I already admired the hell out of him for his talent. The nuance with which he imbues every character that he is entrusted with is nothing short of extraordinary. He's a huge inspiration to me as an actor.

Which is why, when the opportunity to come home early for Christmas to meet him at GalaxyCon Columbus came up, my incredible husband @therealmattlatimer (who I do not deserve) made it happen. I felt guilty, because we are both huge fans, but he talked me into it, and it just might be the greatest Christmas present ever!!

Matt was genuine, sweet, funny, silly, kind, humble...he was everything I had hoped he'd be and more. I was nervous, but he made me laugh, and smile, and he put me at ease. He asked me if I knew any backwards spells, and I told him I did. It was easy to talk to him, and I'll never ever forget this experience.

I got the table photo as well as the photo op, just to make sure I got a good picture. After Gina took a few pictures, he took the camera and snapped a bunch of selfies!! It is days later, and I cannot stop smiling when I think about it!

I've been attending cons since 2009, and this was one of my best experiences ever!! Thank you @galaxyconcolumbus for the opportunity to meet one of my acting heroes.
