A Note to Jeremy…
Hello Jeremy…I am sure your phone isn’t on…but maybe I will be lucky enough for you to hear this. You crossing over to the other side was much harder than I would have ever imagined to hear about. In so many ways, I am and continue to be VERY fond of our friendship.
Since the first time you intervened in making the first batch of drums for The Drum Shop until our last conversation…I’ve always and will continue to view you as a close and cherished friend.
Through cycling and drums, a kinship was formed I hope to NEVER lose and wish to NOT share with others (selfishly speaking). Through ALL of our conversations about life, drums and bicycles, there was an honesty and trust I don’t normally experience; IF I could have, I would have taken your place in your battle with Stomach Cancer.
YES, you had closer friendships with so many others which is a further testament to your impact on those immediately around you and the universe in which you existed.
I still have the picture I posted when you sent me a bottle of NIkka Coffee Distilled Whiskey and it makes me smile every time I look at it. I even have our pictures from the ride in SoCal we enjoyed.
I am sorry you had to leave this planet so soon with so much yet to accomplish and experience. The world will never be the same without you and I hope your family heals quickly.

I never met him but ive heard his drums… outstanding sound and craftsmanship.

Damn. Some of the best humans are here for such a fleeting amount of time. It also seems that even though their time on earth is short, they still manage to impact many people in profound ways. I believe they are the angels among us. Thank you, Jeremy, for the friendship and inspiration you bestowed upon Roger.
