Y’all, when @careorg asked me when I knew women knew how to get things I IMMEDIATELY knew my answer!

While I’m the son of a bad@$$ woman and was lucky enough to be surrounded by bad@$$ women as a kid, I couldn’t resist the chance to talk about Lewis & Clark and Sachagawea, the woman who made it all possible! (cue eye rolls and groans from my friends who have endured HOURS of unsolicited Lewis & Clark stories 🤣😇)

This International Women’s Day, CARE is celebrating fearless women leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers who know better than anyone how to lead and how to achieve success despite all the obstacles the world throws in front of them.

So, what was the moment YOU knew women knew how to get $h!t done?! Stitch this or share your story in the comments and don’t forget to check the link in my bio to learn more about @careorg ‘s International Women’s Day “Women Know How” initiative!

Actually, York never did get his freedom. He was promised, and he was beaten for asking. There’s more to the story as always.
