I’m at home watching the #oscars2023 and am sobbing watching @jamieleecurtis powerful, emotional speech after taking home her first, much deserved Oscars award.
The joy and purpose that comes across from her in her work is contagious. What a moment ♡
I will never forget Jamie Lee racing straight over to me after a performance I did in LA (the night this pic was taken) being so unbelievably kind & supportive.
It was no surprise to see her jubilant celebration of Michelle Yeoh’s Golden Globes award win that went viral for encapsulating the beauty and joy of supporting female peers. I love that she said she wants to see “more women anywhere, anytime, all at once” winning Oscar’s. She is such a cheerleader of other women.
I’m so glad that women all around the world today are celebrating Jamie Lee Curtis’s Oscars win.
When I grow up, I want to be just like her!
