Our latest session with @ttommyalexander is live. Link in the @backwhenfm bio!
We filmed this vid in Portland, Oregon some months back. I’ve been a fan of Tommy’s music for a while now and on a recent trip to Portland, I reached out to capture a session. From what I knew, Tommy was a Portland local. Turns out, he moved to Nashville a couple years ago but happened to be in town playing a couple shows, so we were able to make the session happen.
Behind the scenes, Tommy mentioned that “Something Light” came to fruition when writing his latest album, “Feelings”. He wanted a lighter song for the album and well, I think he really came up with something light 😉
We love this song and hope you do to. Make sure to head over to the video on YouTube and let us know what ya think in the comments!

Great country voice and understated style with the songwriting skills to match. 👏
