Aka me a first-generation college graduate, daughter of immigrants, and 27-year-old Latina woman is going to become a full time faculty at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication! 🔱
I’ll get to empower the next generation of journalists, digital marketers, and communicators and I can’t even describe in words the gratitude and excitement I’m feeling in this moment.
One of my life dreams has always been to become a teacher no matter what industry or career I chose because there’s something so special about giving someone the gift of knowledge and your undeniable support while they soak it all in 💡 🧠
Having caring teachers and mentors changed my life… and if there’s one thing I know it’s that I’m going to put my heart and soul in to teaching my students hoping one day I’ll do the same ❤️🥹
