I have a lot of 'lifestyle' clips from my two years in Japan so I cut some of them to Sleep Party People and made a music video featuring Tohoku region (link to full video in bio). Here it part of it!

Now, here's a popular opinion: it's a bit wild up here. I'm a huge advocate, big Tohoku fan. World's biggest foreign fan, maybe. Sight unseen, I moved to southern Akita in 2021 and subsequently took a deep dive into Japan's north, falling into a vast hypnosis. In a short time I became washed but so sticky, roundly disarranged, tumbled into a blend of marbled pebbles and green sea glass with a friendly rattle.
I spent a lot of time sleeping outside alone, which was both elating and confusing.
Now as the humid summer diffuses over me again, it's literally starting to feel like walking through mud and water, waves lapping up to mid-torso, not high enough to slow but notably resistant and smothering. But at the same time, thoughts are effortless and velvety, serenely lubricated and sleek. This is the leading dichotomy of the polished pebble body.
