@lelemacaya & @caribbeanbeauty’s CARIBBEAN BBQ PARTY baby 🩵🏝️

Growing up Caribbean means ‘gezelligheid’, food, Soca & Calypso and processing your drunk uncle’s view of the world. We both noticed a lack of the lovely Caribbean feeling in the spaces we visit. It’s almost impossible to just grab a ‘pastechi’ somewhere (Antillean stuffed pastry with endless options) or a ‘kroket di karni’. And let’s not even start about the ‘Bubbling ban’ last Summer Carnival in Rotterdam.

SO we decided to bring you the Caribbean cookout at @garagenoord bby.
Pastechi and kroket di karni by @l.atisharsna, @lelemacaya BBQ (also vega options), Calypso & Soca by the beautiful DJ’s and whiskey Cocorico.

Amsterdam wouldn’t be Amsterdam if we didn’t squeeze in a way to include natural wine, so of course @sebonsa.ams will be serving the juiciest juice.

Blessings to have the sun out, the weather forecast is looking HOT.
