#TransplantToddie We are gearing up for round 3 of my health journey. This time will be a little different as a Double Lung Transplant is a major surgery.

As per my transplant team, I have nothing but green flags thus far but I have a few more tests and providers i have to see before my next visit. The team has been very vocal about their confidence in improving my quality of life. I’m super thankful to the stranger that convinced me to move forward with this decision.

Once I’m on the list, it will take about 4-10 months to get the call. There is a 12 month recovery which includes the first month in the hospital and another 3 months in a rehab facility.
