#TransplantToddie We are gearing up for round 3 of my health journey. This time will be a little different as a Double Lung Transplant is a major surgery.

As per my transplant team, I have nothing but green flags thus far but I have a few more tests and providers i have to see before my next visit. The team has been very vocal about their confidence in improving my quality of life. I’m super thankful to the stranger that convinced me to move forward with this decision.

Once I’m on the list, it will take about 4-10 months to get the call. There is a 12 month recovery which includes the first month in the hospital and another 3 months in a rehab facility.

I’m going to keep you guys in the loop every step of the way. Thank you for all of your support this far, I wouldn’t be here without it. I’ve always took pride in giving to others but now it’s finally my time to ask. Please support by donating to the link in bio 💚 by @ahtyjohnson

Most people will never fully understand everything I went through or how rough my experience was. I think i made it look pretty good all things considering but it truly effected every part of my body from my head to my feet. It was definitely the hardest experience of my life.
