Dinner at Le Conteur @leconteurrestaurant in Brussels last night, and I’m still thinking about it 🔥 Middle Eastern food, served family style: everything lands in the middle of the table and you share. We had meat, chicken and shrimp, plus fresh homemade bread with dips. Every plate was full of flavor 🍤🍗 The vibe is just as good as the food. Great service, great music, and a dinner that turns into a little celebration 🎶 📍 Le Conteur Rue du Marché aux Poulets 32, 1000 Brussels, Belgium Right by the Bourse. Book ahead, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. #brusselsfood #leconteur #brussels #middleeasternfood #foodblogger

Paris is a city in constant motion — crowded streets, passing cars, underground trains, rain, commuters, restless flows of people. Yet in Maia Purusha’s photographs, that movement seems to slow down, almost to disappear. Her Paris feels suspended. Through reflections, glass, shadows and layers of overlapping realities, Maia creates a subtle distance between the viewer and the city. People appear and disappear within the frame, sometimes reduced to blurred silhouettes, sometimes isolated in spaces that seem unexpectedly quiet. Motion becomes a trace rather than an action; faces are often secondary to atmosphere, light and the spaces surrounding them. Even in the metro, where the noise and movement of the city should be at their most intense, her images retain a sense of stillness. A passing figure becomes almost weightless; a crowd dissolves into translucent forms; a solitary passenger is briefly separated from the world around them. Perhaps this is not simply a portrait of Paris, but a portrait of the way Maia sees the city in which she lives: attentive, introspective and slightly removed from its constant rhythm. She does not photograph the city’s silence. She finds silence within its movement. Can you feel the silence within the movement?
