Product Briefing 003.22: WTAPS
Vans Syndicate Authentic “S” x @wtaps_tokyo Black/WTAPS “Wings”
There’s not a lot of folks who aren’t up on these and I talked a lot about this pack the other day when I featured the yellow anniversary pair so there isn’t much left to say except to talk about the samples some more.
Somewhere out there exists at least one pair of each color way of the 003 Authentics that have a custom Off the Wall skateboard logo that says “The WTAPS” in place of the W wings logo on the production pairs. To be honest, I am not sure if they were samples or F&F pairs or if they cam out later or what, but they are exceptionally rare. I have never seen them for sale or in the wild but @wicetaps has a pair. Maybe someone who is smarter than me can shed more light!
Anyway, these rock. The whole 003 pack rocks. Sorry they aren’t the whites but @qt.pi bought all those last decade when they were $50 and beat the hell out of them. #strictlywaffles #underthepalms #vans #vanssyndicate #wtaps #wtapsvans #thesedays #5eptember
