Freight Culture

PSA: If you’re a Cincinnati resident this issue is coming up in November. NS is trying to buy a stretch of lines that run down to Chattanooga from the city(the song Chattanooga Choo-Choo was inspired from these lines), and the deal is a joke. This city has had a history of bad deals between the Bengals stadium, the FCC stadium, and the streetcar. If the powers that be would just negotiate a better lease, instead of caving in to the railroad like we caved in before to these other deals, we could generate the same revenue and still have control over the lines #derailthesale
