I’m happy to know that’s a some point in our lives, years from now, we will have the opportunity to look back at these videos…

Sometimes I’m tired. But when I’m putting these videos together I get a boost of energy. I’m someone who doesn’t live in the present. I work and plan for 5 years in the future. When I get there, I look back at what we did and I can finally feel the impact of what I did in the past.

With rollerskating, I get to live in the present. With that, I’ve learned that I’m missing more of that and need to focus on myself for a bit and see what life is like out of school and volunteering. I have been giving everything 100% but had forgot about myself. I didn’t know me until I put on rollerskates and changed my life. Before I get older and my kids grow, I want to really explore what that life can really be like if I invested in it more.

Due to this, I’ll be stepping away from the Oceanside Rolllerskating Director and Owner role in the near future and pass this organization to the group for a slow and easy transition. I believe that the organization has so much hidden talent that goes beyond rollerskating and into business. I believe with some movement of leadership that there will be better ideas and more creativity and a role for everyone… and I’m excited to be here to support it as part of the audience…

My goal for oceanside rollerskating was to build a foundation of love and gain visibility. The fact that we are all different but connect shows that the love is set. With the inquiries and events that reach out to us, I can see that the visibility on this organizations will continue to grow. With these goals being met, I know the organization will continue and the platform is ready for the next leaders.

I can go on forever… but I’ll be around for a bit for the transition so I don’t want to say any goodbyes… this is to let y’all know that the transition is starting. If I don’t say this to the group, I won’t let go. So the announcement is necessary…
