Today is 7 years without my sweet mom here. The last few years has been marked with indescribable grief and hurt, but we serve a God who is so much greater than all of this and worthy of my praise. Today, I’m thankful for a God that instills great joy in our hearts in the midst of pain and who offers peace as we lean into Him. John 16:33 tells us that we WILL experience trouble on this earth, but He has already overcome the world and we can have victory in His name! He has been and will always be good. What great news!!!
The Lord is waiting with open arms to rescue you and walk with you in your pain. For you and me, He sent His one and only son to die for our sins so we can be saved through Him!
