Equating all Jews with Zionist thinking is like equating all Christians with the KKK. The leader of the klan quoted the Bible. That doesn’t mean all Christians believe the same. It’s actually more antisemitic to assume all Jews ascribe to Zionism, which was founded by Theodor Herzl, an atheist opportunist. Also “antisemites?” You do know that Semites doesn’t just include Jewish people, right? Don’t be fooled by the US government’s “solidarity.” They will choose oil over everyone, every time. Peace and love to ALL. Safety for ALL PEOPLE. Not some.

Who's fault is that? It's the right wing zionist who popularized the interchangeability of 'jew' with 'zionist'. They're the one's who make the claim that anti-zionism is equivalent with anti-semitism. They made that correlation, not the west. In fact, the accusation that left wing academics and academia delves into anti-semitism when criticizing Israel is manifestly not true.

I don't agree with this post. Most criticism of Zionist goes towards the violent rhetoric being conveyed by ar right individuals most of whom are not even Jewish. And most of the replies to that have not been about Jewishness, but Western hegemony. I have seen so many Jewish allies of Palestine.

Horseshit. Critiquing the state of Israel and critiquing Jews are not interchangeable.
