Nôtre papou, celui qui était pour moi le grand Codron, le Codron par excellence nous a quitté.

Dans un monde où il faut souvent en faire toujours plus pour se faire remarquer, lui n’avait pas besoin de bruit. C’est son calme, sa bonté et sa présence qui laissaient la plus grande empreinte.

Six months down, forever to go ❤️
As we were getting married in Israel under the chuppah beneath the Israeli flag, many thoughts came to our mind. One of them was gratefulness to all the people who fought throughout history for us to be able to get married in our homeland. Never did we think that only a few months later the joy of our wedding would be overshadowed by the pain of losing so many fellow Jews, murdered simply for being Jewish.

Jewish weddings, now more than ever, signify the strong spirit of the Jewish people—a resilient thread woven through history. Today, we continue to pray for the end of this devastating war, envisioning a future where Jewish couples from around the world can once again get married, dance, and celebrate in the Land of Israel. ❤️🇮🇱 #WeWillDanceAgain #AmYisraelChai by @eliecod

This is a very important post to read to get a better understanding of the conflict. The poll was made by the Arab World for Research and Development (AWRAD) located at Birzeit University in the Palestinian Territories. It surveyed Palestinians across the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip this past week. The poll’s sample includes all socioeconomic groups, ensuring equal representation of adult men and women, and is proportionately distributed across the West Bank and Gaza.
I hope this post will lead to reflections and more educated conversations around the conflict.
