Maybe it’s time to give a little introduction about myself☺️

I am an American expat living in Maastricht with my Dutch husband who is an Acupuncturist, and our 2 children Ezra & Lula.

I grew up in the south of the US, and my mother practiced Naturopathy so herbalism and alternative medicine have always been part of my life.

For years I purchased natural skincare or made my own products, and after beginning to study herbalism and taking a small course in natural care products, I realized a real passion..to highlight the power of plants/botanicals in skincare.

I began to officially study and became a certified Natural Skincare Formulator in 2021. The 1st formulation I made was Essential Face Oil and very quickly it became a success, so I continued to formulate new products to complete a full offering of personal skincare. At the beginning of 2023 the pro-aging line was formed✨

Over the past several months I’ve been working on a line of products specifically for acne..hopefully they will be launched in the near future.

I am very grateful for the loyal Roots Botanica customers, and look forward to continuing to formulate and bring you new and exciting botanically based skincare products.
