such a magical weekend at @openstudiosoftopanga
✨ 💎🤍 it was such a gift to be invited to collaborate on this installation with Geoff and Sarah Seelinger, and we had such an amazing time sharing work with visitors. Geoff and Sarah have put such love into their space in Topanga and into their community and it was so felt in every conversation. totally enchanting and such a beautiful opportunity to interact with the light and terrain. thank you to the organizers + hope everyone had an amazing weekend! #openstudiosoftopanga2024

Following her brief appearance in the previous film, Taylor-Joy returns as Alia Atreides, Paul’s enigmatic younger sister, with a significantly larger role in the final chapter of Villeneuve’s trilogy.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
As Paul’s journey takes an increasingly darker turn, Chalamet reflected on the moral complexity of his character and the film’s departure from a traditional redemption story. “That phrase ‘anti-hero’ gets thrown around a little too loosely perhaps, but it’s fantastic to chew on as an actor, where it’s not purely redemptive. ‘DUNE 3’ is its own beast. It’s its own story, its own siege, its own hail of paranoid isolation.”⁣⁣
⁣⁣
One of the film’s striking details is Paul’s throne, carved from a massive green Hagar emerald. While green traditionally symbolizes life and growth, it also represents mourning among the Fremen, reflecting Paul’s dual power to both give life and take it away.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Meanwhile, Zendaya teased a very different Chani, explaining that after opening herself up to love in the previous film, that vulnerable side of her has largely disappeared. Paul, however, still holds on to her blue scarf, a seemingly ordinary object that takes on a deeper meaning through distance and loss.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Villeneuve also promised a significant shift in tone and storytelling. “The idea was to try to make a movie that will have the same DNA, but it’s a very different movie. It has a different pacing.”⁣⁣
⁣⁣
‘𝐃𝐔𝐍𝐄: 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄’ arrives in theaters December 18, going head-to-head with Marvel’s ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’. The film marks the conclusion of Villeneuve’s Dune trilogy before he moves on to direct the next James Bond film.

This is your sign to max a Roth IRA before 2027 👀

I know we’re not quite ready for freezing temperatures yet, but trust me, NOW is the time to grab these before you actually need them! 😂

Y’all, this will be my THIRD winter wearing these fleece-lined tights, and I stock up on them every single year! They’re THAT good!

Here’s the secret… they LOOK like regular sheer pantyhose, but they’re actually lined with the softest, warmest fleece! And unlike regular pantyhose, they don’t run or snag!

They’re perfect for wearing with your favorite skirts and dresses when the temperatures drop, or even under your pants when you need an extra layer. They come in black and coffee brown, different lengths, and have a comfortable control top!

One of those little wardrobe finds that makes getting dressed in the winter SO much easier. And if you’re anything like me, you’d rather have them in your closet BEFORE that first cold snap than be wishing you’d ordered them! 😂
