2 years agoI had my first one last year, they put sandbags on my feet because I couldn’t stop wiggling them. I was nervous and started to panic at the beginning, and by the 30 minutes mark I was almost asleep 😴 wouldn’t want to do it often thou 😂
2 years agoI’ve had three. Two on my knee. No biggie. I was nervous to have one on my heart. I told myself I’d just keep my eyes closed the whole time ‘cause then I wouldn’t have to see how tiny it was. After deciding, I couldn’t keep my eyes closed any longer, I finally opened them and thought “this is what people have been complaining about? There’s so much room in here!” We’re all different! I do still get anxious about not moving. I might be the universe’s most fidgety person.
2 years agoI’ve had nine brain surgeries and 21 abdominal surgeries and when anybody asked me about an MRI I start screaming clunk clunk clunk clunk clunk lol 😂 I have problems
2 years agoAs someone who has had at least 15 of them, my answer is... loud? Uncomfortable? Forced stillness and time with your own thoughts (esp if your machine doesn't have music)
2 years agoWe can travel to the Moon but we can't make a better system for MRIs than the one we currently have? They are god-awful!
2 years agoI have a bad very painful back, so I lay still, even if tears are going into my ea read, because I do NOT want to start again!
2 years agoClaustrophobic. But necessary so get over it! Some countries don’t have these sophisticated life-saving scanners. So have a positive attitude!
2 years agoMRI Machines give me PTSD I had a Avm bleed when I was a kid so going into those are triggering and the clanking sound really gets my heart going so claustrophobic know as an adult 😆
2 years ago“Just don’t climb out of the scanner” 🤣🤣🤣 Feel free to lend out my “pretend it’s a very expensive elite spa treatment.”
