4:46:21!!!! SUB-5 AND 33 MINS OFF MY PB…WHAT THE HECK!!!🥹🥹🥹 I have so much to say about this race (will do a proper debrief later). It was hot, so mentally challenging, my tummy was acting up all day and I was really scared about possibility having to stop at a toilet halfway through…But I did it!!🥲🥲🥲 I got a lot of ‘backlash’ for my last DNF but genuinely I would do it again! one bad race doesn’t define you, the same way one good race doesn’t either!! This hobby is meant to be FUN and if anything, it’s made me realise how important it is to listen to your body… and whether that’s a DNF, a DNS, sometimes they’re needed 💖 (and im sure they will happen again with my tummy troubles lol) Thank you @runna for the training plans!! I literally wouldn’t have a clue on how to train without it (code TRENCHES if you ever want to try it out for free💖💖) ad/aff I’m still a bit shocked to be honest but thank you for everyone who believed in me, and thank you @runwithliss for giving me a big kick up the arse to start backing myself, it was needed xxxxx
