Today an essay I wrote was published in The New York Times column Modern Love❤️‍🔥The editor once said that you could get into Harvard 20 times before getting selected for Modern Love – 99.5% of all submissions are rejected. It’s something I’ve wished for on every birthday candle, bright star and 11:11 for years.

The only requirement for Modern Love is that whatever you write has to be completely true. It’s about things I know well – fleeting connections, life’s inevitable lows, spaghetti. I’m so glad I never gave up on myself (or on romance). Give it a read and then go tell someone you love them. X

Crying!!! My book has been awarded Highly Commended in the Cheshire Novel Prize 💛🏆 Out of 1900 entries, I came in second place!
