More mics more problems ๐ค
No samples in this, just real drums. I experimented taking out my snare bottom mic, spot mics (hi hats, ride, etc), and room mics. Just wanted to see how it would work out. Only 6 channels total ๐ฅ
1. Kick in
2. Snare top
3. Rack tom
4. Floor tom
5. Overhead L
6. Overhead R

Honestly sounds really good and natural ๐ช Adding all the extra mics definitely adds to the depth and character, but Iโd be perfectly happy with this mix right here ๐๐ค

Hey man what mics are you using? What compression rate do you prefer? What are your camera specs? Do you have a healthy work life balance? Kamala or Trump? Thanks man! Love your work.

What reverb are you using here? Or is it the Fake Room mic technique? Sounds cool ๐๐ป
