I was just a few feet away from this Red-eyed Dove, and it couldn’t care less about me being there! 😂 Guess staying still really does work. Found this one casually chilling on the pavement by the dam on campus.
Fun fact: Red-eyed Doves are known for their calm nature, and they can often be spotted relaxing in open woodlands and gardens. They have a soft, repetitive calls—like nature’s little background music!
