Touchscapes - is an small installation about a process of making the drawing and trying to understand some of the more non-visual aspects of it. Also, in this small exhibition I am connecting some of the documentation of a performative works to the work in progress materials that are born from the previous larger processes.
I have been studying touch, soundscapes and encounters between people and spaces drawing can create for more than 10 years now. Drawing conversations, listening, collaborative making, togetherness and studying the boundaries through the act of drawing feel more and more important.
I am very greatful for all the possibilities to share a drawing space with so many on the way already now. Obviously, most of these works would not exist without around 20 people and even more waters, forests, stones, animal who have been leaving their traces on this little collection of works.
Drawing, for me is endlessly evolving, never done, a lot of it just flashes and feelings, lines and waves in ones mind and a possibility to listen to the unknown. It is a tool to create worlds that aren't existing. Possibility to create connection and dream of it.
Thank you for those who already left their marks and traces!
