📸: Dok. In September 2015, Drake and Future surprised fans with What a Time to Be Alive, an 11 track collaborative project released on September 20 through Apple Music and iTunes. Co executive produced by Metro Boomin, who produced eight of the tracks, it brought together Drake and Future’s distinct styles. Standouts included “Digital Dash,” “Diamonds Dancing” and “Jumpman.” The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 375,000 equivalent album units, including 334,000 traditional sales. It was the second No. 1 album of 2015 for both artists, following Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and Future’s DS2. “Jumpman” later peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped Billboard’s Rap Airplay chart, making the surprise release one of the era’s defining rap collaborations. #drake #future #2010s #hiphop #desperadostyle
