A year ago my life changed as I got a once in a lifetime opportunity to get into Hollywood for my acting. This has always been my life’s mission and ultimate goal! HOLLYWOOD!!! LOS ANGELES!!! THE CITY OF ANGELS!!! 🇺🇸🎥
DECISIONS.. DECISIONS.. DECISIONS.. At the time it was a dream come true however I had a lot of stuff to tie up in South Africa. Do I leave my life behind and start over in a new city with no friends or family or live life with a regret of never being in Hollywood? After a long and tough thought process & brain storming I opted to take this opportunity as I would have lived with way too many regrets if I didn’t. I had to prepare myself to leave South Africa and go to “THE ANGELS” which translates to “Los Angeles”!
There were many ups and downs in my journey to get there but in the end it had all been worth it. I had to resign from my corporate job at FNB, put my property on rent, sold my dream car and left my friends and family to pursue this new quest!
I left South Africa on the 14th of October and took a 29 hour flight to The City Of Angels. FYI - I have never been to America before, now this is my new home!
REMEMBER THE NAME ASHISH MISRA!!! I will be joining the greats in the industry @charlizeafrica @kimengelbrecht trevornoah @tyla ⭐️
My road to the Oscar’s begins today! 🎬🏆🎥
I am hoping to make my friends & family proud and represent South Africa on the highest stage possible. Let this be an inspirational story to all. Pursuing your dreams is one of the most courageous things you can do. The path may not always be easy, but every step you take brings you closer to becoming the person you were meant to be. Trust your instincts, embrace challenges as opportunities to grow, and never let fear or doubt overshadow your passion. Remember, the journey toward your dreams is as important as the destination—stay committed, and you’ll find the strength within you to make them a reality. Keep believing, and keep moving forward!
