Yesterday, I baked a zesty lemon cake with my new 8” deep cake tins (courtesy of Amazon 😊). Everything was going well until I saw towards the end, that the lemon cake looked a bit sunken. The first thought that came to mind: “I overmixed the batter 🤦🏽‍♀️🙇🏽‍♀️” I don’t know what it is, but I really mixed this batter, like I was preparing garri for Okoro soup 🤣🤣🤣. I also made some lemon buttercream which slapped and really complements the cake 😊😊😊

Nevertheless, I’m learning to keep accepting the mistakes I make and learn from them. We go again this week 😇
